Our Mission: To work in collaboration with schools and community organizations to provide programs, resources, and supports to help students to achieve better academic and life outcomes.


Dr. Baksh is a career educator, with teaching, leadership and management experience in P-12, higher education and nonprofit environments. 

Her experiences working with students, faculty, parents, community-based organizations and administrators have helped to inform her perspective on the issues, challenges and opportunities associated with providing quality education in a rapidly changing world. 

Dr. Baksh taught in Chicago Public Schools for 12 years, both at the elementary and secondary levels. She held several positions in higher education, including Assistant Director, Curriculum, Evaluation & Partnerships at University of Illinois Extension and Director, Office of Field Experiences at National Louis University. 

In addition to working in higher education administration, Dr. Baksh has taught in undergraduate and graduate teacher education programs at Lewis University and St. Xavier University, where she was also the Director of Field Experiences.
